One in ten men is likely to have a sperm problem

Can I become a sperm donor?

If you are a healthy male, aged between 18 and 41, you may be eligible and we would be delighted to hear from you!

Britain’s donated sperm stocks are low, unlike in continental Europe and the U.S.A., and demand consistently exceeds supply.

We welcome enquiries from potential donors from all walks of life and every background. Women requiring donor sperm usually have certain requests, such as particular physical characteristics, or donated sperm from a donor of a specific race or religion.

The women who come to us for donor sperm may be from very diverse backgrounds but they all share one common desire - to have a child. And you can help!

Please note, however, that the following people should not apply to become donors:

  • Intravenous drug users
  • Men who have had unprotected sex in areas known to have large numbers of AIDS cases
  • Men who have had unprotected sex with multiple partners in the last six months
  • Men who have been adopted and do not have access to the medical history of their biological parents
