Finding a sperm donor can be difficult, but don’t worry, we’re here to help! The London Sperm Bank has a large stock of donor sperm ready for use by patients at any of our four HFEA registered London Women’s Clinics (LWC) located in London, Darlington, Swansea and Cardiff. Purchased donor sperm is for the exclusive use for treatment at the LWC clinics only.
We understand that finding a suitable sperm donor in the UK is one of the most important considerations of treatment, so please think carefully about the physical characteristics of your close family, other children and partner (if applicable) so that your child will fit in well. It is often helpful to discuss this at your counselling appointment. Finding a sperm donor from a different racial background to you is also possible but please discuss with our counsellor and/or doctor as this does have long-term implications for any resulting child.

The process of finding a UK sperm donor
Choose your sperm donor from the wide-ranging characteristics available.
Add it to your cart and follow the instructions.
Add any extras, for example, a free edition of the OVA magazine or tickets for an INSEMINAR session.
You will receive an automated confirmation email requesting further information. Please respond to this email as quickly as possible.
Once we receive your response you will then receive an email from one of our sperm donor team to confirm your donor choice is available and that you are happy with the characteristics.
Confirm your order with us by return email.
Pay for your order over the phone – maximum of one treatment amount at a time. We charge £850 for donor sperm per treatment cycle (please note that additional charges for transport and storage may apply).
If you are not a patient and are looking to become a patient at the LWC, book an initial appointment with one of our medical secretaries at the LWC clinic of your choice to see a consultant– charged as per the usual initial consultation fee.
If you are already a patient of an LWC clinic then book your review consultation with one of our medical secretaries. Alternatively, book in your treatment with your chosen LWC clinic’s nursing team. Please book your donor sperm once all your pre-treatment tests and consent forms have been completed. The Nursing team will be happy to liaise with you about this.
You must have your donor sperm confirmed and paid for prior to commencing your treatment.
