Information for our donors regarding COVID-19

We hope you are staying safe and adapting to life during this challenging period.

The London Sperm Bank is now open and we are working hard to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of its normal services. As part of this, we are employing a number of precautions to ensure the safety of our applicants, donors, staff and patients.

For those interested in donating, please apply online, or contact us here for more information. Initial consultations will now take place remotely via a Microsoft Teams video call. To book the consultation, please complete and return the medical history form that will be sent to you following your application. If you are invited to proceed, your semen analysis will take place at the clinic by appointment only.

For our donors:

Before attending to the clinic, it is essential that you read the Information Leaflet and complete the COVID-19 Triage Questionnaire and Code of Conduct. You cannot attend your appointment until this is completed and returned. Please contact Sameer or call 020 7563 4305 to request these forms and arrange your next visit.

As additional precautionary measures, we will also be implementing the following:

Reduced appointment slots to maintain social distancing. Appointment times are every 30 minutes from 08:30 – 15:30.
Please ensure that you are on time for your appointment, as you will not be able to wait at the clinic and if you are late, we may not be able to see you.
Temperature screening for everyone entering the building.
Face masks must be worn at all-time in the clinic until you have exited the building.

Important note: if you have had/ are experiencing symptoms you cannot donate for 28 days since the day you have/had a full recovery.

We will keep you up to date with all changes and developments, and please be assured that we aim to progress your donor journey as smoothly and swiftly as possible. We are very grateful for all your support so far.
